FM Crowd Fantasy Football is ONLINE!
FM Crowd Fantasy Football
The concept of Fantasy Football is simple.
YOU are the chairman of your own team. A new league will be created called the “FM Crowd Fantasy Football League” consisting of 10 teams (this will increase as we gain more players).
You first register your club’s details and it is created and entered into the league. The maximum number of players for every team is 211.
Every team will begin with 50,000 fantasy coins2.
Teams can spend their fantasy coins on players for their team and manager. You do not manage your team, your manager does and therefore a good or bad manager may make a difference. If your manager does not perform well throughout a season, then he may be replaced automatically by FM3.
Transfer windows are only the summer window. During the transfer window, all club owners can place players up for sale on the transfer list or make bids for opposition players4.
Teams will be given a new budget every transfer window which will be calculated depending on how many points they have accumulated so far within the league5.
I – Karam – will take care of simulating the matches and will post updates every January window and at the end of every season on my FM Crowd blog. I will also keep track of every clubs Fantasy Coins budget.

This Fantasy Football League will work on a first come, first served basis. You can create your team by commenting on this post using the template below. Player prices will be equivalent to their transfer value on the latest FM12 patch (12.2.0)8.
Manager prices will be equivalent to their wage budgets on the latest FM12 patch (12.2.0)9.
It is important to remember that every season will be a new game file, therefore do not try to sign wonderkids in an attempt to try and reach the top in a few seasons! Despite the new game file, teams will be updated. Long story short, don’t worry, I’ve got this, just don’t try to be smart by signing wonderkids because they will never age!

2(1 x Fantasy Coins = £1000 ∴ 50,000 x Fantasy Coins = £50,000,000 Transfer Budget).
3When this occurs, you will be able to choose a new manager to be assigned. Depending on the manager chosen, you may regain Fantasy Coins or spend even more.
4Your bids must be accepted by the chairman of the team that owns the player you submit a bid for. Your bids will be made in Fantasy Coins.
5For example – If on June 1st your team has accumulated 30 points, then (POINTS * 500) will determine how much money is added to your club’s available budget of Fantasy Coins, in this case, 30 points = 15,000 Fantasy Coins.
6Players who have already been chosen will be crossed out and their current club is listed.
7Managers who have already been chosen will be crossed out and their current club is listed.
8Player prices are as follows – (Lionel Messi – £36,000,000 ÷ 1,000 = 36,000 Fantasy Coins)
9Manager prices are as follows – (Sir Alex Ferguson – £80,000 ÷ 10 = 8000 Fantasy Points)
